Kendrick Lamar's Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers Was the Most Streamed Album of 2022

Kendrick Lamar’s comeback album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, was the most streamed on Spotify in 2022. The album became the most-streamed rap album on the platform, garnering an impressive 1.4 billion streams.

Drake and 21 Savage’s “Her Loss”, Future’s “I Never Liked You”, and Jack Harlow’s “Come Home, The Kids Miss You” were all situated close to one another.

After a five-year hiatus, Lamar released his first solo album to great success, becoming an instant hit.

In August, it was confirmed that Morale had become the first rap album to reach one billion streams, so it is not particularly surprising that this latest album has achieved the same feat.

The Compton-based rap artist was nominated for eight Grammy Awards for his song, “Mr. Morale”. He’s up for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, Best Melodic Rap Performance and Song of the Year, along with Best Music Video for “The Heart Part 5.”
