Michigan law enforcement has responded to multiple shooting incidents on the Michigan State University campus on Monday.
The campus police reported that “multiple reported injuries” and “The suspect description is a short male with a mask, possibly Black. Please continue to shelter in place,”
Police first issued a shelter-in-place order at 8:40 p.m., saying that shots were fired near Berkey Hall on the northern boundary of campus.
“Run, Hide, Fight,” MSU said in an alert to students. “Run means evacuate away from danger if you can do so safely, Hide means to secure-in-place, and Fight means protect yourself if no other option.”
Victims were being transported to Sparrow Hospital.
