Teejay, whose real name is Timoy Janeyo Jones, is a popular Jamaican dancehall artist known for his energetic performances and catchy tunes. Born on April 26, 1993, in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Teejay grew up in a musical family and was exposed to reggae and dancehall from a young age.
In his teenage years, Teejay began to develop his own unique style of music and caught the attention of several prominent producers in Jamaica. He released his first single, “True Friend,” in 2011, which quickly became a hit in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean region.
Since then, Teejay has released numerous hit singles, including “Up Top Boss,” “From Rags to Riches,” and “Owna Lane,” which have all topped the Jamaican charts. He has also collaborated with other dancehall artists such as Vybz Kartel, Shenseea, and Popcaan.
